The bevelling machines
The bevelling machines carry out the gauging and the bevel of the marble or granite paving tiles. The structure is composed by 3 working groups:
- 1st GROUP. It is composed by a badplate carrying two mobile structures composed by two shoulders on which two toothed wheels are assembled to move two belts toothed on the lower part and with a special covering on the upper part in order to guarantee a major friction on the marble. The belts rest on a steel surface to reduce wear. On the front structure 1 or 2 spindles have been assembled for gauging then 1 or 2 chamfering spindle with 45° inclination have been assembled. A set of pressers is assembled on the front structure to line up the paving tile to the chamfering spindles on the opposite side. Then 1 or 2 chamfering spindles with 45° inclination have been assembled opposed to the spindles assembled on the front structure.
- 2nd GROUP. The second part includes a rotating device composed by a belt bench for the spacing of the tiles. After this bench the tiles are lifted on a bridge composed by two belts which allow the 90° rotation of the tiles. The belts are indipendentely controlled by motorvariator which allow to adjust the different speed between them.
- 3rd GROUP. Group with the same characteristics as the first one.
